Foreword

Architecture travel story is an International architecture experience competition organized by ‘Sangaf’, a travel portal. Travel stories of architects, their observations, and experiences. Beyond the pandemic pause, let’s plan our journey after the pause, explore a little more. Let’s share our experiences and exchange travel journals and meet on the other side.
The best experiences come from the best observer and so this competition aims at architects' experience of their travel stories with architecture, food, local culture, and every aspect that enriched their journey.

JORDAN - THE LAND OF AMBIENCE

Being my first trip as an architecture student made me realize that I had definitely changed my perception of a place and its surroundings. As for the question of the day, I simply travel for the joy of discovering new cultures, foods, and architecture. Witnessing a beautiful architectural work is like seeing someone living the work and experiencing it is like witnessing a living thing. Thus, I vow to be a wanderlust until the end of time.

VISHALI SRIKANTH

Vishali is a student of the school of planning and architecture in Bhopal. She was born in Kuwait and raised there. She enjoys architecture, travel, writing, and photographing sunsets and long walks. Her current interest is architectural writing, and someday she hopes to be a journalist for an architectural journal.

VICTORIA VALENTA

MA art hist. Victoria Valenta, is an Art Historian with a certificate in Interior Design. She enjoys  history, philosophy and art. Architecture as a very specific form of 'art' expression is well worth of  observing and debating as it gives insights into human collective and its development through  history from which we can all learn and by that improve our human experience. She has been  working at architectural company for three years while getting her certificate in Interior Design.

TSAE - WEI KAO

Tsae-Wei Kao also known as Trinity, graduated from the Architecture department Chung Yuan Christian University in Taiwan with a semester of exchange program in CEU San Pablo, Madrid Spain, where she studied architecture and currently working as an architectural designer. She loves to sketch as well as travel, sketching on site as a form of documenting these adventures. As a lover of architecture history and theory, old cities like Rome, Firenze, Venice, Madrid, Barcelona, Tokyo… have always have a pull towards her. To travel through a cities while understanding the history and urban texture is mesmerizing to her. Looking forward to the pandemic being over and to travel the world again.

ASHRAF MOHAMED TALAT ALI

A Mediterranean Architect and an Expressionist. His Architectural works focuses on philosophical theories and concepts that speaks to today’s issues. His expressionism revolves around autobiographic representation of events and visions through abstract poetry and Western paintings. Studied his Bachelors of Architecture at University of Bahrain, and graduated with Masters of Architecture at Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania, interested in researches that involves identity of visible environment and their displacements.

A student of architecture in the School of Planning And Architecture. I was born and brought up in a bustling and beautiful city of Patna on the bank of river Ganges. For me, living my life to the fullest is the most important thing.
